As "The Anchorage Rooms” do not have cooking facilities,
there are 3 restaurant/bars
located on the ground floor. They are "GG's", Segafredo Coffee Shop
(see above) serving breakfast & lunch, "The Pizza Oven" making
fresh Italian pizza from a wood burning stove for lunch & dinner
including a take-away service to your room & "Club Havanna" which is a
Mexican cantina open from 5pm – 1am serving dinner till 10.30pm &
drinks till 1am daily except Tuesdays.

Stand-by water & electricity are integral to the running of “The
Anchorage”, however due to the tropical environment, hot water is
not part of the setup!

Depending on the length of your stay, rooms are cleaned with fresh
bedding & towels every 3 to 4 days.

On
site and in the rooms there is wireless internet access- in addition
there is also an internet café on the ground floor.

Same-day newspapers in your language are available if ordered the
previous day.
Dining and Bars
Located a few minutes walk away from "The Anchorage Rooms” are many
other bars and restaurants with everything from chicken barbecue
stands on the side of the road to fine dining, as well as some
excellent bars. Both Nelson’s Dockyard and the Antigua Yacht Club
Marina have a great selection including Italian coffee and fine
dining, waterside bars and restaurants and great views.
Every Sunday evening a 5 minute drive takes you to the renowned
Shirley Heights where the island famous soca, reggae and steel bands
play each week from
4pm to
10pm. For newcomers to the island this shouldn’t be missed and for
returnees it’s a great place to catch up with old friends.
