Rates and Reservations
US$65.00 from 1st Dec – late April when Sailing Week begins
US$49.00 from 7th May – 30th Nov
US$75.00 for international events which include security to “The
Anchorage”.
The
rooms are subject to 10.5% government tax.

Please note the
following policies:-

Prices are charged per
room which is based on 2 persons sharing.

Regrettably, children or
pets are not encouraged

Accommodation is quoted
for in advance either using an e-mail to
marilynlinnington@hotmail.com
or when coming into the office between
8am - 1.30pm Mon - Sat.

A 50% deposit is made to
book a room.

If booking on-line,
details required by the Bank of Antigua for a wire transfer to be
made in US$ will be emailed to you.

Visa and MasterCard Accepted
On
arrival
-
The 50% balance is paid either in cash or
by credit card.

A few minutes walk away, the Bank of Antigua is
open daily from 8am – 3pm & Sat 8am - noon. They have an ATM which
takes a Visa card & delivers EC$.

A booking form will need to be filled in & US$50
will be held on deposit for your key.
On your day of
departure
- Please clear out
of your room by 9.30am in order for it to be cleaned.
Usually luggage can be left until 1:30pm in the office.

If you require it, a local taxi will pick up or
take you to the airport & deal with your key & deposit 24/7.
Should your booking be cancelled 2 weeks prior to arrival, 25%
of your 50% deposit will gladly be returned.
General
Information

Although
"The Anchorage Rooms”
is not a hotel,
the Office is open Monday to Saturday from 8am - 1:30pm.
Arrivals can be dealt with 24 / 7.

Whilst
the intention is to leave you as free as possible to enjoy your stay
away from a hotel environment, all rooms are non-smoking & immoral
or illegal use of the rooms will not be tolerated.

Every
effort has been made to create comfortable and secure accommodation
for you, “The Anchorage Rooms" cannot be held responsible for
the theft or damage to any possessions. Unfortunately a safe is not
available in the rooms.

The
theft or damage to the room, its contents or outstanding bills for
local businesses may result in notification to the police or
immigration.

Buses
run regularly into the capital of St. John’s from outside the
property in daytime whilst nearby there are car rentals & taxis
available for you to explore out of the way places on the island or
when departing with your luggage.

Historically, English Harbour is frequently called “Nelson’s
Dockyard” as Lord Nelson was the Commander of the Leeward Islands
Station from 1784-87 to fight the French before the days of a head
to head with Napoleon in Europe. After extensive restoration in the
1950s & 60s, it stands today as a world-renowned tourist attraction
capturing an unparalleled moment in Georgian naval history. This
unique museum is only a few minutes walk away from "The
Anchorage Rooms".

A local taxi driver can provide a fun and informative island tour
for you if you wish.
